Jewellery care
Fine jewellery loves to be worn — and a little care keeps it beautiful for decades.
Pearls
Pearls are the last thing you put on and the first you take off: after perfume, hairspray and creams. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth after wearing and store flat in the pouch provided. Avoid swimming and showering in pearls.
Gold vermeil
Our vermeil is a thick layer of 18ct gold over sterling silver. Keep it dry, store pieces separately to avoid scratches, and polish gently with the cloth in your box. We can re-plate worn vermeil at the studio.
Sterling silver
Silver naturally tarnishes in air — wearing it often actually helps. Store it in its pouch and polish with a silver cloth.
Solid gold
9ct and 18ct gold are hard-wearing. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft brush, then dry thoroughly. We offer complimentary cleaning and claw checks for life.
